Michael MAHESH Schallhart is an Austrian artist who studied with painters of The Viennese School of Phantastic Realism. He travelled extensively to the Near and Far East and was impressed and influenced by the marvels of oriental and asian art and philosophy.
MAHESH creates atmospheric paintings to reveal a positive
and meditative energy. His works are like Tibetan prayer flags
- silently telling their stories to the soul. Stories of the
beauty and harmony of our inner and outer nature.
Over the last 20 years he did many exhibitions of his artwork
as well as cover design and interior design.
The cover paintings of the Buddha & Bonsai series are
by Mahesh.

"The Planets" - 12 paintings in a series by Michael Mahesh Schallhart
were created simultanuously with the album "Planetary Healing" by Existence.
Music and pictures are part of the Austro-Tibetan sound cloud "Tibetische Klangwolke", a charitable multimedia and singing bowl project.
All paintings seen below are mixed media on canvas, 120 x 120 cm
